Friends
of the Library
Friends of the
Library are people who support activities and raise funds for their
individual branches. Elbert County needs a strong library system
to help educate our children, provide resources to our businesses,
and to meet the growing information needs of the community. Friends
help this happen.
The Friends of
the Library raise funds for the enhancement of public library service,
host special programs, encourage gifts, memorials and endowments
for the benefit of library services and assist the library in its
public information effort. A primary Friends sponsored event is
a book sale. Any book donated to the Library that is not placed
in the Library's collection or sold through the Bookstore is made
available to the public at a book sale.
All funds raised go directly for programs and materials at the individual
branches. You may fill out this
form (Word) to contribute to the library in memory of someone.
For information
about joining or supporting the Friends of the Library contact your
local Library Branch in Elizabeth,
Kiowa, Simla
or Elbert. Anyone

application (Word) and turn it in to your local library.
